Alia Shawkat (born April 18 1989) is among the most successful and most famous TV actresses. Alia Shawkat grew up in Riverside California. Palmer described Shawkat as "one of the brightest spots on a program populated by the brightest lights" in addition to Scott Weinberg (eFilmCritic) called the actress a funny young woman. In an interview with The A.V. Shawkat said to The A.V. Club that in 2010a large portion of Shawkat's early experience as an actor took place during Arrested Developement: Mitch Hurwitz was my father character. It was fun to have Mitch Hurwitz around since my knowledge of comedy increased during that time. Shawkat appeared featured in Harmar Superstar, which was a Whip It Co-Star's Tall Boy Music Video that featured Eva Mendes & Eric Wareheim. Shawkat Har Mar teamed up with Whip-It's Co-Star Ellen Page to produce and compose Stitch N Bitch for HBO in the month of October 2009. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show follows two painfully hipster chic girls moving from Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood to the Los Angeles Silver Lake enclave in hopes of becoming artists--of all kinds.
