Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding on 30th December, 1986, in Hereford, England) is a English singer-songwriter. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top of her game with her electronic pop music after getting the attention of people by releasing "Starry Eyed" along with "Guns and Horses" in 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has a unique soprano scream and a knack to write songs that are emotional with inspiring lyrics. Much like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she's on the cutting edge in the world of mainstream and arty independent music.
